Summer 2018 Internship

Fueled by a passion for discovery? Always thinking of the next big idea? We want to talk with you! MedThink Communications and MedThink SciCom are on the lookout for enthusiastic, take-charge individuals for our internship program. It’s a great way to dive into the world of healthcare communications and really make a difference. This is not a “get my coffee” position—our interns gain relevant, hands-on experience, collaborate with several agency departments, and think strategically and creatively every day.

The MedThink internship program provides exciting opportunities to grow valuable career-oriented skill sets through working directly with senior management, presenting a project you work on during the internship to the president and team, as well as being involved in social activities and events.

Past internship positions have supported in the following departments:

  • New Business
  • Account Services
  • Project Management
  • Insights & Connections/Analytics
  • Creative
  • Scientific Services/Medical Writing (for those students completing a PhD)
  • Finance & Administration

We accept resumes throughout the year for our summer internship program. Please apply if you are interested in any area above. We will post specific job descriptions as soon as available, but will keep early applicants in mind for specific positions once posted.

Position Requirements


  • Actively pursuing degree in Marketing, Communication, Business/Finance, Mathematics, Art/Design, Biological Sciences or another related field
  • Rising juniors and seniors preferred


  • Previous agency internship or related experience ideal
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • High academic achievement


  • Must be available 40 hours per week, 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
  • Must be available for the entire 12 week program from May 14th to August 3rd

  • Proficient (intermediate skill at minimum) in Word, PowerPoint and Excel

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Self-starter, proactive and resourceful
  • Interest in communication, marketing, or healthcare
