Digital Media Specialist

 

Fueled by a passion for discovery, the Digital Media Specialist works with the Insights & Connections (I&C) team to prepare and execute strategic paid search & paid social campaigns. They are responsible for day to day management of client accounts, client related deliverables and client communication. The Digital Media Specialist collaborates closely with the I&C team to ensure that all analytics and reporting are clear, and communicated effectively to the client. This role requires experience in driving campaigns that meet clients’ KPIs and makes a measurable impact on their business. This position plays an integral role within the media team and provides channel expertise to clients and other external audiences, as well as to internal audiences.

Position Responsibilities:

Demonstrates behavior expected of a professional member of the organization, including but not limited to:

Campaign Strategy Implementation

  • Prepare and present strategic recommendations to client and agency management, including objectives, strategy, rationale, and all backup materials
  • Provide recommendations for account structure & optimization
  • Design and implement or oversee implementation of single and multi-variate tests to increase campaign efficiency

Campaign Execution

  • Drive the execution of paid search & social campaigns, which includes managing Google AdWords, Bing Ads, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr and other social media and social networking platforms; responsible for all outcomes
  • Track and report on campaign results, data analysis and participate in weekly calls
  • Responsible for all tactical execution and campaign audit
  • Ensure deliverables are met on time and on budget
  • Effectively prioritize efforts based on client goals and objectives
  • Plan, manage and execute paid search campaigns, including but not limited to account setup, researching and selecting keywords, writing ad copy and determining landing pages
  • Plan, manage and execute paid social campaigns, including but not limited to account setup, organization, ad copy & image selection and day-to-day management
  • Audit, review and analyze reports, lead optimization efforts to meet campaign objectives and performance
  • Consistently look for ways to improve current processes or introduce new approaches that will contribute to client / MedThink success
  • Establish and update budgets caps and ensure accounts are pacing properly based on pre-determined spend
  • Manage IOs and budgets with search engines & social platforms

External Relationship Management

  • Build trust and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors and partner agencies
  • Act as a point of contact for the client and be responsive to all client requests and inquiries
  • Understand clients' brands, structure and industry
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations
  • Develop and maintain accurate project plans to update clients on status of campaigns

General tasks

  • Monitor industry changes and translate those into actionable recommendations
  • Research issues related to healthcare and pharmaceutical marketing
  • Research healthcare trends and opportunities and provide relevant updates to client and agency teams
  • Work with agency teams to provide guidance on client requests or new business planning
  • Create, or assist in creating, POVs, best practices, and key process documentation
  • Performs other job duties as assigned
  • Cross trains in other positions as requested

Talent & Knack

  • A minimum of three years paid search & paid social experience
  • Experience working with an advertising agency preferably with healthcare and pharmaceutical accounts
  • Experience presenting plans to internal agency teams
  • Strong interpersonal communication and ability to work autonomously while simultaneously collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers and analytical thinking, with clear and proven organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines while delivering flawless work
